FAQ'S

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION

IS AXE THROWING SAFE?

At VALHALLA we pride ourselves on safety. Axe throwing does use weapons. As long as all instructions are followed, there won’t be a problem.

WHAT IF I'VE NEVER THROWN AN AXE?

That’s probably a good thing. And during the first part of every session, our axe throwing coaches will run you through every aspect of throwing.
You’ll be sinking bullseyes in no time.

WHAT DOES AN AXE THROWING SESSION INVOLVE?

1. Arrive on Time
2. Sign Waiver
3. Group safety Briefing
4. Axe Throwing Demo
5. Practice Throws
6. Breakdown of Rules
7. Battle Begins

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

There are generally 5 session times per day.

10.00am – 12.00pm
12:30pm –  2:30pm
3.00pm –  5:00pm
5:30pm –  7:30pm
8.00pm – 10.00pm

But remember, you've got to be SOBER before you throw. PLAN AHEAD!

CAN WE BOOK A TIME THAT'S NOT LISTED?

Get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to accommodate. During weekends we won’t be able to shift session times, but there is more chance during the week.

Check out our Functions page if you're looking for something more specific for your mates.

DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?

Yes - click on our GIFT CARDS section to find out more.

WHAT'S THE MINIMUM AGE?

For axe throwing and use of the rage room, the legal minimum age is 18. Younger patrons are welcome to spectate if accompanied by an adult.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE A LATE ARRIVAL TO OUR GROUP?

We recommend all members get to the venue early, so they can sign waivers and be ready for the start time. Think of it like a golf course. Any late arrivals will cause the session to be halted as all players will require the full induction and safety briefing.

And an extra person can be included in your group session, so long as it is before the session commences.

WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN.

THAT’S WHY WE MAKE THE RULES

AND WE DON’T BREAK THEM FOR ANYBODY
